610 BRAZOS
AUSTIN, TEXAS
2020
MIXED USE
610 Brazos Street, a 15,756 SF building in the heart of Austin, Texas, was originally built in 1890 and beautifully renovated in 2020. Located near the historic Driskill Hotel and minutes from the State Capitol, it blends Austin's dynamic energy with rich history.

This building, featuring high-end creative office finishes, merges modern and rustic elements with exposed ceilings, brick, stone, wood, and steel-framed windows. Situated one block east of Congress Avenue, it stands as a unique fusion of Texas heritage and contemporary design. The exterior is adorned by "Rumble," a vibrant, three-sided mural by renowned artist Rubén Sánchez, which brings life and color to the façade, integrating art into the urban landscape.
The architecture posed significant challenges, as the mural had to navigate complex features such as windows, pipes, staircases, and fire exits. However, Sánchez’s piece masterfully turns these obstacles into part of the artwork, adding a Mediterranean twist to the busy Austin scene and celebrating the city’s lively, creative spirit.
