NEW PROJECT
STARTING A NEW PROJECT IN SPAIN
Gomez Vazquez International participated and won a competition to develop The Master Plan Villar del Pozo in Castilla-La Mancha, Spain.
This was possible by implementing a sustainable, functional and low maintenance route that will create synergy between the town and the new areas such as the Hotel & Spa, Camping and Ecotourism Hiking Zone.
The goal is to place Villar del Pozo as a reference tourist destination, create job opportunities and recover the heritage by complementing the existing tradition, architecture and landscape with recreational activities and outstanding design.
The proposal is divided in sectors from A to E, each one with its own characteristics but remaining true to the overall project, making this a Master Plan.
Sector A
Villar del Pozo
Urban intervention for improvement of the public spaces, achieving a homogeneous and eye-catching environment for the population.
Adaption to the necessities of the development of the new sectors included in the proposal.
Sector B
Boutique Hotel & Spa
Conversion of the former home school of Villar del Pozo to a Boutique Hotel and Spa.
The project seeks to attract visitors who look for a place of rest and relaxation while getting to know Villar del Pozo and its surroundings.

It includes:
-Restauration area and local natural products store.
-20 Suites with terrace and garden area.
-Spa, with both indoor and outdoor bathing areas and treatment rooms.
Sector C & D
Camping
With the intention of experiencing this space first-hand and in direct relationship with nature, the creation of a campsite with different forms of accommodation was proposed.
This variety of offers will allow adaptation to the different needs of users.

The campsite is made up of:
-Common areas
-Motor home and free camping
-Adventure area
-Bungalows
-Glamping
Sector E
Ecotourism
Looking to make the most of the natural environment and the views of the sector, these cabins are considered the main element of Ecotourism.
Two sets of cabins, both with the option of transportation from the hermitage or by private vehicle with a parking area near the cabins.
