Architectural Design: A Flowing Connection to Water

The hotel's design draws inspiration from water, the sea, and its constant movement. The rhythm of the tides, the interplay of light, and the ever-changing colors and textures of the surface shape its essence. Organic lines and fluid forms reflect the natural flow of the ocean, creating a dynamic and immersive experience.

Layered Luxury

GVI maximized the space with 452 ocean-view rooms and tiered swimming pools, even on the hotel's flat, wide site. The vertical layout optimizes the land, ensuring efficiency and a strong connection to the sea. The resort is composed of repeated structures arranged in sweeping semicircles, evoking the fluidity of the ocean and ensuring ocean views from every room.
As part of the master plan, the hotel also offers a spa and an exclusive dinner show experience, enriching the guest's journey with wellness and entertainment.
Sensing Serenity: Experience the Design
Live Aqua Riviera Maya stands out for its impeccable sensory design, crafted to delight all the senses. Every architectural element, from color and light to textures and aromas, creates an engaging experience. The design evokes sensations in each space, transporting guests to calm and well-being, where they see, live, and feel the design.
The resort's architecture features low reliefs and recessed elements on the sides and balconies of the rooms. These details create a strong bond with the lobby's roof, which is designed with serial planes. Together, they reinforce the visual continuity and cohesion of the design. The architecture reflects the rhythm of the ocean, capturing its movement and energy in every detail.
Curved structures rise from layered, organic planes while repeating patterns form semicircles that echo the coastline. Geometric modules with recessed joints and framed extrusions add depth and strengthen the connection to the surroundings. Light-colored materials enhance natural brightness, making spaces feel open and welcoming.
Every element contributes to an architectural identity that unites innovation with the coast's natural beauty.

Echoes of the Ocean
One standout feature is the lobby roof, which extends to the motor lobby and mimics the shape of a water droplet falling onto a reflective pool. This design element enhances the aesthetic appeal and strengthens the water connection, embodying the tranquil essence of the coastal landscape right from the moment you arrive.
At Live Aqua Riviera Maya, the design captures the essence of the ocean. It flows with the rhythm of water, reflected in the tiered pools and the building's organic curves. The architecture invites guests to connect with the sea.
Like waves shaping the shore, GVI designs Live Aqua Riviera Maya into a retreat where the water's rhythm pulses through the architecture. It's a space where tranquility and innovation come together, offering a unique and refreshing experience.
