Architecture in Dialogue with the Mountain

A Project Defined by Its Setting

The Slope begins with a careful reading of its mountain environment. Topography, light, climate, and views are not treated as external conditions, but as fundamental drivers of architectural form. The project emerges from the terrain, aligning with its rhythm and reinforcing the natural character of the landscape.

Conceived as more than a conventional mountain hotel, The Slope is understood as an architectural opportunity to translate landscape, culture, and lifestyle into spatial structure.

Spatial Continuity

The project unfolds as a continuous spatial sequence. Circulation, proportion, and scale are carefully orchestrated to create clarity and flow throughout the built environment.

Architecture operates as a cohesive system in which ground, structure, and horizon are interconnected, allowing each intervention to contribute to a unified architectural language.

The organization of space articulates movement, encounters, and views, transforming the act of inhabiting into a spatial narrative rather than a functional arrangement.

Concept as Structure

At the core of The Slope lies a guiding architectural idea: the integration of family, fitness, food, and fun within a single spatial framework. These dimensions are not treated as programmatic additions, but as structural principles that define relationships between spaces, users, and experiences.

Light, Height, and Nature

Formal Expression

Formally, the building is conceived as a layered composition. Volumes rise along the upper levels, generating depth, rhythm, and a dynamic silhouette that responds to the mountain context. Sloped ceilings and material transitions introduce variation while preserving coherence and identity.

Simple geometries, black wood, and natural textures define a refined architectural expression, where materiality becomes a key instrument in shaping perception and atmosphere.

Formal Expression

Light, Height, and Nature

Generous ceiling heights enhance proportion and spatial quality, expanding visual and sensory experience. Vegetation is integrated into the architectural language, extending the presence of the mountain into interior spaces and reinforcing the relationship between built form and landscape.

Pools, wellness areas, restaurants, and social spaces are positioned to maximize panoramic views and reinforce a wellness-oriented environment.

Architecture as Experience

Architecture as Experience

In The Slope, architecture is not limited to form or function. It operates as an experiential framework that shapes how space is perceived, inhabited, and remembered. The project becomes an architectural landscape where nature, structure, and lifestyle intersect.
